Mounir Lynch

For Columbus City School Board

Mounir is a health educator, disease prevention professional, and proud product of CCS schools running for CCS Board of Education in 2025. To Mounir, all public schools are a public good. Mounir has been fighting for the district that raised him since he was a student- attempting to make light of the impact of hazardous school facilities, unfair funding, and low staffing resources across neighborhoods.

Mounir has years of experience teaching in nearly every CCS middle and high school in his time as a health educator with Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio, where the subjects he taught fostered health, safety, and belonging that made a great impact on school communities.

Mounir is running to make Columbus City Schools the best place to work and learn in our growing region.

As a board member, Mounir promises to fight back against attacks on students, staff, and families from the state and federal government, and empower our communities. Mounir is ready to get to work to make CCS the best place to work and learn in the region. Mounir studied at the University of Cincinnati, attaining a B.S. degree in Public and Community Health Promotion & Education as well as a B.A. in Spanish.
